What is Evi Ai?
Evi Ai is a personal Ai assistant built by 26io Techlab. Unlike assistants that begin writing immediately, Evi first classifies the question and plans the shape of the answer — format, length, depth and what to cover — then writes it, then scores its own reply against that plan and against the sources it actually used. Long-term memory across chats and answers drawn from uploaded documents are included as standard.
How is Evi Ai different from other Ai assistants?
The difference is the pipeline rather than any single feature. Evi Ai separates planning from writing: one pass works out what kind of question was asked, a second decides the format and what the answer must cover, and only then does it write. After streaming, every reply is scored out of 1 against that plan and against the retrieved sources rather than the model's own training. Most assistants begin generating text on the first pass.
Does Evi Ai search the web?
Yes. Evi Ai classifies whether a question needs current information and triggers a live web search when it does, instead of answering from a static training snapshot alone.
Can Evi Ai read documents I upload?
Yes. Evi Ai can answer questions from PDFs and other documents uploaded to it, and ties its answer back to the source text rather than relying on memory alone.
Is Evi Ai related to Hume AI's EVI or Amazon's Evi?
No. Evi Ai, built by 26io Techlab, is a separate, unrelated product from any other assistant that shares the name Evi, including Hume AI's Empathic Voice Interface (also called EVI) and the Amazon-acquired Evi.

Yes. 26io Techlab currently offers Evi Ai free of charge, subject to fair use. Other products may be offered separately, including on paid terms, under their own agreements.
